In just one decade, science has discovered the incredible powers of the microbiota, a collection of bacteria, fungi and viruses that are found in the digestive system, opening the way to a new type of medicine.
This exhibition was created in collaboration with the Enders sisters: Giulia, a medical student, and Jill, an illustrator. They are the authors of “Gut: The Inside Story of Our Body’s Most Underrated Organ,” a best-seller in more than 39 countries. Visitors plunged deep into the world of the gut and can learn tips to apply daily to keep their microbiota healthy and improve their food habits.
