Supported by the Roquette Health Foundation since 2018, the program developed by the FLVS association is evolving and expanding its target audience to future parents, overweight or obese adults and active seniors.
For several decades, Vivons en Forme has aimed to support local and territorial authorities by providing them with concrete solutions for the implementation of public health prevention actions.
The originality of the Vivons en Forme program, with its approach based on social marketing and collective impact, makes it possible to innovate in the implementation of actions to benefit the health of all. The program, aimed at people aged 55 and over, will focus on 3 key areas:
– A compilation of best practices for this target audience, reviewed and enriched by a committee of experts, including geriatricians: Book Seniors
– Co-construction of tools, training and content defined by the committee of experts and aimed at local players
– Continuous improvement of content aimed at this audience, and to roll out the program nationwide.
The 55-75 age group now represents over 20% of the French population, a figure that has almost tripled in less than 40 years. Younger seniors, who are particularly close to their children and grandchildren, are also pivotal to tomorrow’s society: the key messages conveyed to them can also be used to change the behavior of the youngest among them.
