The suggested project, “ALIMCARE,” is being implemented in response to the increase in chronic diseases caused by poor diet. Its objective is to enhance the skills of young learners, their teachers, and professionals in the fields of catering, health, and personal care, both at home and in facilities. It aims to integrate nutrition as a tool for health prevention and as a continuation of care without sacrificing the pleasure of eating, as well as to improve knowledge and practices regarding healthy and sustainable eating to prevent these diseases in the general population.

How?

• By creating over 350 hours of training for UniLaSalle engineering students on collective catering and catering in health hospitality, with 2 new training programs and 110 continuing education modules for professionals by 2027.
• By annually organizing awareness and communication actions, including interactive digital workshops, culinary workshops, a website, videos, conferences with practical workshops, and five events to promote nutrition as a tool for prevention.
