The Roquette Foundation supports the ANCA Chaire from AgroParisTech Foundation to understand and support behavioral changes among people 18- 35 years old to healthy and sustainable food, thanks to innovative, rigorous and scientifically proven tools.
The AgroParisTech Foundation supports and encourages projects and programs that provide solutions for the future of our planet.
The 18-35 years old people are the consumers of today and tomorrow: they represent 40% of French people and will represent ¾ of the working population in 2030.
Sensitive to sustainable development and health issues, they search for credible and affordable information which provides them knowledge and responses to the questions related to sustainable food and food systems. The project led by the ANCA Chaire aims to give them keys to understanding for acting concretely on their eating behaviors.
Created in 2010, the ANCA Chaire wants to change consumers’ behaviors through concrete solutions that are adapted in terms of digital communication and education, with data from the fields of neuroscience, eating behavior and the sociology of food.
Rooted in scientific expertise of the laboratory of Physiology of Nutrition and Food Behavior, ANCA Chaire aims to understand and support behavioral changes among people 18-35 years old to healthy and sustainable food, thanks to innovative, rigorous and scientifically proven tools.
ANCA Chaire implements a research-action and communications approach to:
– Understand and reflect on the needs and constraints of people 18-35 years old, and also to identify levers for the adoption of sustainable food,
– Co-build and deploy communication actions adapted to the real needs of the audience,
– Demonstrate the digital influence on the public and share its methodologies, tools and results to food system stakeholders and opinion leaders
